Review on marine collagen peptides induce cancer cell apoptosis, necrosis, and autophagy by reducing oxidized free radicals

Marine collagen peptides (MCPs) are natural products prepared by hydrolyzing marine protein through a variety of chemical methods or enzymes. MCPs have range structures and biological activities widely present in species. also small molecular weight, easily modified, absorbed the body. These properties attracted great interest from researchers studying antioxidant, anti-tumor, anti-aging activities. specific weights significant anti-tumor activity no toxic side effects. Thus, potential use as anti-cancer adjuvant drugs. Free radicals produced oxidation closely related to human aging, cancer, arteriosclerosis, other diseases, but their relationship with cancer is not well known. In this review, we focus on antioxidant treatment highlighting structure for clinical practice.
